Celestial Moon Ring

Celestial Moon Ring

Celestial Moon Ring

Element ∴ Air/Ether

Symbol ∴ Moon ~ Transformation

Crystal ∴ Lapis Lazuli ~ Communication

This unique double ring takes the shape of the Moon, one of its many depictions in North African Amazigh symbology. The Moon is associated with feminine energy and represents change, fertility and life’s many cycles.

It can also represent death and re-birth. Many Amazigh believe that the moon can come down and interact with the earth, and it does have a physical effect, its gravitational pull changing ocean tides. The moon’s associations with femininity complement the Amazigh belief that women possess the power of attraction which is linked to her body’s monthly cycle.

In contrast to the crescent moon, this depiction represents the Full Moon at its peak, during which it sheds light on the dark and hidden, and its gravitational forces are at their strongest. This creates an ideal environment for exerting resources and energy towards transformation.

This symbolism is enhanced by the crystal energy of the Lapis Lazuli gemstones which support clear communication amidst the Full Moon’s high and sometimes chaotic energy, and harnessing that energy towards meaningful change.

Sterling Silver Care

Polish your Celestial Moon Ring regularly for sparkle, or wear tarnished for a more antique look. Use a designated silver polish such as Silvo with a microfiber cloth. Please note that any other type of cleaning solution may remove the black inlay of hand-etched design. Other cleaning methods may also scratch or damage the silver and/or gemstone. You can wear this piece in water. For more detailed information on how to safely store and care for your silver, click here

Silver tarnishes over time when exposed to air. In an effort to keep your piece polished until it reaches you, we seal our products in jewelry-sized plastic bags. To reduce plastic use, we re-use these bags from other jewelry stores.
