Celestial Cross Pendant

Celestial Cross Pendant

Celestial Cross Pendant

Element ∴ Air/Ether

Symbol ∴ Touareg Cross ~ Guidance

Crystal ∴ Lapis Lazuli ~ Communication

This pendant takes the shape of a traditional Touareg cross. The Touareg, a nomadic people indigenous to the the Sahara Desert, adorn a four pointed cross for decoration and as a means of differentiating between tribes. Crosses are also worn as talismans for navigating spiritual realms and, symbolically, the four corners of the earth.

This Touareg-inspired cross features hand-etching reminiscent of line patterns in the desert sands, as well as triangles, the basic form for creating symbols and meaning in North African Amazigh symbology.

Combined with the Lapis Lazuli gemstone, this talisman supports clear and effective communication and offers guidance Both in expressing one’s authentic ideas, and in receiving external wisdom that enables continual growth and transformation.

Comes with your choice of a 28″ or 30″ sterling silver chain.

Sterling Silver Care

Polish your Celestial Cross Pendant regularly for sparkle, or wear tarnished for a more antique look. Use a designated silver polish such as Silvo with a microfiber cloth. Please note that any other type of cleaning solution may remove the black inlay of hand-etched design. Other cleaning methods may also scratch or damage the silver and/or gemstone. You can wear this piece in water. For more detailed information on how to safely store and care for your silver, click here

Silver tarnishes over time when exposed to air. In an effort to keep your piece polished until it reaches you, we seal our products in jewelry-sized plastic bags. To reduce plastic use, we re-use these bags from other jewelry stores.
